Heavenly Father,
As we see in the book of Ezra, You moved the heart of King Cyrus of Persia to fulfill the Word You had spoken through the prophet Jeremiah.
“The Lord moved the heart…” (Ezra 1:1) — You are the One who stirs the hearts of people to carry out Your divine will.
Lord, whatever I do today, help me not to rely on my own thoughts and plans or push forward by my own strength.
Instead, help me to listen closely to the Holy Spirit who dwells within me. Let me be sensitive to the gentle prompting You place in my heart so that I may walk in obedience to Your will.
God, move my heart today. Help me endure, be patient, and love others through the inspiration You provide.
Let my thoughts, words, and actions remain in line with Your purpose and bring glory to Your name.
